How to use photo frames

A photo frame is a decorative border placed over the whole collage: flowers, holiday décor and the like. It is independent of the template and sits on its own layer, so you can add or remove it without touching your photos.

How to add a frame

Open the “Frames” section in the toolbar, pick a category and a frame, then a layout: square (1×1), 3×4 or 4×3.

  • When you pick a frame, the canvas may adjust to its proportions — you’ll be asked to confirm.
  • Cells automatically keep clear of the frame’s opaque area (the safe zone), so your photos aren’t covered by the décor.

Choose a theme for the occasion

Frames are grouped by category — seasons, holidays, birthday, love, wedding, kids, flowers and more. Browse the whole collection on the Photo frames page or right in the editor via the “Category” list. Pick one that fits the mood of your collage.

Removing or changing a frame

The frame sits on its own layer, so the “Remove frame” button takes it off without affecting the rest of the collage. To change the look, just pick another frame.
