How to add text

Text is a free element on top of the collage: captions, titles, dates, wishes. Unlike template cells, a text label can be moved, rotated, duplicated and deleted anywhere on the canvas.

How to add a label

Open the “Text” section in the toolbar and add a label — a text box appears, ready to type into. Then pick a font from the list, set the size and colour, and turn on bold, italic, underline or alignment if you like. Drag the finished label where you want it on the canvas.

A font for every occasion

There’s a large set of ready fonts — from clean and formal to handwritten and festive. Each font’s name in the list is shown in its own typeface, so it’s easy to find the right one: for a title, a photo caption, a date or a greeting. There’s a search by name too.

Curved text

To bend a label along an arc, drag the “Curve” slider (the arc button) — from a slight curve to a semicircle. Note that curved text is single-line: line breaks and edge alignment aren’t available (it stays centred on the arc). The “Reset curve” button brings back a straight line.

Moving, duplicating and deleting

Tap a label to select it — handles appear around it. Drag the centre to move it; pull the corner handles to resize, and the top handle to rotate. A selected label can be duplicated or deleted, and the pencil opens it for editing.

If text hides behind a photo

Text sits on its own layer. If a label slips under a photo or another element, move it up in the “Layers” section, which controls the stacking order.
